Half Marathon Filling Fast

The third annual Door County Half Marathon and Nicolet Bay 5k is filling fast. Over 700 people have registered to run the 13.1 mile distance in the May 1, 2010 race.

At this time last year just 285 people had registered, with over 500 runners signing up after March 1. Organizers expect a similar late push this year, and with participation capped at 1,200 for the Half Marathon and 400 for the 5k this year, interested runners are encouraged to act soon to secure a spot. The registration fee goes up to $60 April 1.
