Halloween “Chills & Thrills” in Store at TAP

Tristan Christ’s “Chills and Thrills” show is an incredible performance of modern magical illusion that draws the audience into a state of childlike wonder. Back by popular demand, Christ appears at Third Avenue Playhouse on Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1 with a brand-new show filled with grand illusion. Known for his energetic and charismatic onstage persona, Tristan presents a show that is perfect for young and old alike.

Over the years magicians have performed many variations on the famous trick of sawing a lady in half. New for his shows in 2009, Tristan dusts off the original apparatus and recreates a spine-tingling version of the illusion just like it was done over 100 years ago. Audiences will also witness a Halloween-themed routine involving a stainless steel blade and a volunteer’s head.

The show begins at 7:30 pm on Saturday, October 31, with a 2 pm matinee show on Sunday, November 1. Tickets for “Chills & Thrills” are $15 for adults and $8 for children. Guests will receive $1 off the price of a ticket if they come in costume.

Tickets are available through Third Avenue Playhouse’s box office, down the street at the Dancing Bear, by visiting http://www.ThirdAvenuePlayhouse.com, or by calling 920.746.1760.
