Handcrafted Excellence

This Amish quilt design “Cherry Delight” is just one of more than 120 handmade Amish quilts available at the Amish Quilt and Craft Show.

The upcoming Amish Quilt and Craft Show will be held at Mr. G’s Hall on Highway 57 just south of Jacksonport from 9 am to 5 pm, July 10 – 13. More than 120 Amish-made quilts will be featured in a variety of styles, patterns, sizes and colors.

The show also includes many other handcrafted gift items for upcoming holidays. A wide selection of Amish-made wall hangings, throw pillow covers, table runners, place mats, pot holders, table centers, quillows, spice mats, rugs, Amish dolls, miniature quilts, baskets, and many other gifts hand crafted by the Amish will be on display and for sale.

Cashew Crunch, Amish noodles, peanut butter and Yoder popcorn will also be available.

There will be two tables with different patterned fabrics and pattern kits that are for sale. Handmade brooms will be created at the show and will be for sale. Local broom maker, Chris Steinhagen will demonstrate her broom making skills.

An entry fee of $1 will be charged at the door. Children age 8 and under are admitted free but must be attended by an adult at all times. All adults will be welcome to sign up for a door prize drawing for two $50 gift certificates for Jacksonport Craft Cottage Gifts or at future Amish Quilt and Craft Shows.
