Handcrafted Lighthouses Featured at JCC

These four-foot solar lighthouses, handcrafted by the Amish from recycled plastic, are now available at the Jacksonport Craft Cottage.

Jacksonport Craft Cottage has a new style of handcrafted lighthouses available this season. The new solar model is four-feet high and is handcrafted by the Amish from recycled plastic. This model comes in six colors and is maintenance free. This would make a perfect gift for a lighthouse collector or as an addition to any garden.

Since the lighthouses are solar powered, they can be placed anywhere in the yard. The batteries recharge during the day and have a rotating light at night.

The Craft Cottage, now celebrating 28 years, has expanded over the years and now features the work of over 130 artists and craftsmen and the work of Amish families from a six-state area.

Jacksonport Craft Cottage, located at 6275 Highway 57 in the heart of Jacksonport, is open daily from 9 am – 5 pm.
