Hans Christian Kicks of “Tuesday at TAP”

Celloist Hans Christian will kick off the “Tuesday at TAP” series, featuring prominent local musicians, on Feb. 14. The series will continue through May 15. Each concert in the series will benefit a different Door County nonprofit.

Christian’s career spans many projects in the genres of rock, pop, electronica and devotional music, and he has recorded with artists including Robbie Robertson, Billy Idol, and Fred Alley. He is a co-founder of the group RASA, whose music has found a global audience. His recently release CD with noted poet/teacher Andrew Harvey is titled Rumi Symphony.

Christian’s concert will benefit United Way of Door County.

Tickets for the Tuesdays at TAP series are $15 dollars for adults and $10 for students. Tickets are on sale at the theater box office, 239 N. Third Avenue, Sturgeon Bay, 920.743.1760, Monday through Friday from 10 am – 3 pm and also one hour prior to the performance. Tickets are also available at Dancing Bear, Java on Jefferson and online.
