Ephraim’s Hardy Gallery is excited to announce the launch of the annual Wall-to-Wall Salon. The salon opens with a kick-off party on Saturday, May 29 from 5:30 – 7 pm.
The salon features works submitted for the 48th Annual Juried Exhibit. Attendees may vote for their favorite piece with the popular “People’s Choice Award.” The votes are $5 per chance and may be cast throughout the duration of the weeklong exhibit. All funds raised will support the operations of the non-profit Hardy Gallery.
Concluding the exhibit, the artwork will be juried by a diverse panel of jurors. The work they select (as well as the winners of the People’s Choice Award) will be on display for the 48th Annual Juried Exhibit, which will open on Friday evening, June 11.
The opening reception of the Wall-to-Wall Salon will also serve as the public unveiling of the 2010 Door County Arts Map. Created by the Hardy, the new map features 80 of Door and Kewaunee County’s galleries and studios.
Both the exhibition and its opening reception are free and open to the general public. The gallery will be open May 30 until June 3, from 10 am – 5 pm, reopening Friday, June 11 from 5:30 – 7 pm for the opening reception of the juried exhibit.
