Hardy Gallery Announces Holiday Auction

Ephraim’s Hardy Gallery will host its first-ever Hardy Holiday Auction, which will debut on the Hardy’s website on Wednesday, Nov. 17. The funds raised from the auction will benefit a number of the Hardy Gallery’s programs, including the Exposure to Creativity and Art Camp programs.

“Our auction offers you a chance to simplify your holiday shopping and benefit the Hardy at the same time,” said Elizabeth Meissner-Gigstead, the Hardy’s executive director.

A few of the many items listed in the Hardy auction include a one-year family-level membership to the Door County YMCA, a $300 gift certificate for classes at the Peninsula School of Art, and several original and signed prints by such artists as Flora Langlois, Mike Judy, Alice Apfelbach, Charles “Chick” Peterson, and Ellen Sprogo-Topelmann.

The items will be available for viewing at the Hardy Gallery’s year-round office in the Svalhus, which is located adjacent to the Ephraim Historical Foundation, just off of Anderson Lane. Interested parties may place bids at the Svalhus, by calling the office at 920.854.2210, or by emailing [email protected].

The highest bid for each item and package will be posted online by 5 pm each day, with auctions for all items closing on Wednesday, Dec. 15 at 5 pm. A “Buy it Now” option will also be available for all auction items and packages.
