Hardy Gallery Art Studio Tours Begin August 28

Join Ephraim’s historic Hardy Gallery for a series of four Art Studio Tours, the first of which will be held Friday, August 28 at 4 pm. These tours offer a wonderful inside look into some of Door County’s finest painters, potters, and fine craftsman.

The tours will take patrons to the private studios of three distinctly different Door County artists – many of which are off the county’s main-traveled roads. Learn about and experience the creative process with live demonstrations, and purchase artwork directly from the artists.

This evening excursion includes trolley transportation, heavy hors d’oeuvres, wine, and dessert at the studios. This is a wonderful tour to take with a group of friends or family – so invite some guests along with you and enjoy a great art-enriched evening in the Door Peninsula!

The Tours will occur on the following Friday evenings throughout the fall:  August 28, September 11, September 25, and October 9 from 4 – 7:30 pm. The artists featured at each of the tours is detailed below:

August 28 Artists:

September 25 Artists:

• Emmett Johns, 9100 Highway 42, Fish Creek

• Gale Ritchey, 9281 Maple Grove Road, Fish Creek

• Chick Peterson, 10107 Moravia, Ephraim

October 9 Artists:

• Ed Fenendael, 3829 Fairview Road, Baileys Harbor

• Chad Luberger, 4999 Plum Bottom Road, Egg Harbor

• Donna Lindboe Trupin, 3911 Wandering Road, Fish Creek

Tickets for the Art Studio tours are $49.95 per person. Advance registration is required, and can be secured by calling the Hardy Gallery at 920.854.2210. Transportation for the evening is being provided by Door County trolley. The trolley will pick participants up promptly at 4 pm at the Hardy Gallery, with a brief introduction of the tour. Participants will then spend about 45 minutes at each artist studio.
