Hardy Releases Exhibit Schedule

The Hardy Gallery will open for its 61st season May 26, and in preparation, it’s released its exhibit schedule for the 2023 season.

The first event is the annual Wall-to-Wall Juried Exhibit, on display May 26 – July 9. The exhibition is open to emerging and established artists working in a variety of media, and this year’s judge is Craig Blietz. An opening reception is planned for May 26, 5:30-7 pm.

The Collection Invitational & Collector’s Choice Benefit show will be displayed July 14 – Aug. 27. This exhibition features two works from each artist, one of which the artist donates to benefit the gallery – it’s the the Hardy’s largest fundraiser. The opening reception takes place July 14, 5:30-7 pm.

Hung in tandem with the Collection Invitational is the Community Mosaic Project, featuring hundreds of six-inch-by-six-inch tiles decorated by members of the public. People can purchase one of the tiles through a blind mailing. The mosaic unveiling will take place during the Collection Invitational’s opening reception.

The fall show is Rendering Intent[Ions]: Contemporary Photoworks, on display Sept. 1 – Oct. 8. The exhibit features work by Dan Cross, David Graham and Terri Warpinski, all of whom have innovative approaches to their photographic work. The opening reception is set for Sept. 1, 5:30-7 pm.
