Harley Davidson Fashion Design

Gibraltar students (from left to right) Leah Zielke, a junior, and Shelby Kahr, a freshman, work diligently at their Fashion Design of Harley Davidson workshop.

Cheri Radovancevic is sporting the look with a green Harley Davidson jacket while talking about the Fashion Design center at Harley Davidson. The Gibraltar students seemed interested in the work environment where jeans and jackets were acceptable. A class that seemed bored, somber, antsy, and sleepy at first turned into a class that was interested and creative when it came to work time.

When asked if she was interested in this sort of thing, Corinna Jauregui, a freshman at Gibraltar, said, “I have ever since I was in 5th grade.”

“Fashion is more complicated than just a few stitches,” Ava Erickson, also a freshman at Gibraltar, said about what she had learned.

Cheri Radovancevic talked a lot about the process from idea, to paper, to leather. Harley does lots of different things ranging in colors and styles. They get their products from all over the world and they also ship all around the world. There’s more than just the ideal black leather jacket with angel wings; there’s chaps, boots, helmets, vests, halter tops, etc.
