Harmony by the Bay

Victoria Vox will perform at Harmony by the Bay, along with Deirdre Fellner and Mrs. Fun on Tuesday, July 27.

National touring artists Victoria Vox, Deirdre Fellner, and Mrs. Fun will take the stage at Harmony by the Bay concert series on Tuesday, July 27 at 7 pm. Complex, sophisticated, and adventurous, their music is a provocative blend of off-center jazz, ultra-funk, spoken word rap, and their own brand of neo-cabaret.

Previously musing with a guitar, Vox began appearing in clubs as a ukulele musician after receiving a degree in songwriting from the prestigious Berklee College of Music. She has been included in Relix Magazine’s list of artists to watch and won a WAMA in 2009 for Folk-Contemporary Vocalist.

Door County native Deirdre Fellner masterfully interprets great jazz, blues and soul legends. Since returning to Wisconsin after a four-year tenure in Alaska, she has been featured in a number of prestigious festivals including Summerfest, The Kettle Moraine Jazz Festival, and Generations of Jazz.

Mrs. Fun plays hardcore electra-acid-jazz.

Harmony by the Bay concert series is located in Martin Park in Sturgeon Bay. The park is located at 3rd Avenue and Oregon Street. All concerts are free to the public. In case of rain the concert will be held at the Ladder House in Sturgeon Bay. Don’t forget to bring your blankets or lawn chairs. For more information call Terry Lundahl at 920.493.5979.
