‘Harvey Haen’ History Hour in Egg Harbor

On July 18, the Egg Harbor Historical Society continues their History Hour programs with a presentation on Egg Harbor’s Harvey Haen, owner with his wife Helen of “Harbor Service” from 1942-1979. A gas station and fix-it shop before self service came along, a local distributor of not only gas but up-to-date news. Harvey, “Mr. Fix-It,” was an inventor of what needed to be invented, once the village’s fire chief and its first village president always had a word to pass along.

History Hour takes place at the Kress Pavilion in Egg Harbor from 3:30 to 4:30 pm.
