Hastings Earns Audie Award Nomination

Katherine Hastings, a local USA Today bestselling author, has received an Audie Award nomination for her audiobook The Wilder Widows, which follows the journey of four widows on a wild bucket-list adventure. Narrated by Pamela Dillman, it’s a final-five finalist in the Humor category. 

The Audie Awards, facilitated by the Audio Publishers Association, recognizes distinction in audiobooks and spoken-word entertainment in 25 categories. Winners will be announced March 28. 

Past winners in the Humor category include Leslie Jordan, Colin Jost, Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally, Amy Poehler and Billy Crystal. The other nominees this year include Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey for The Office BFFs, David Sedaris for Happy-Go-Lucky, Sarah Cooper for Let’s Catch Up Soon and Anjelah Johnson-Reyes for Who Do I Think I Am?

Hastings (katherinehastings.com) has written 20 books, ranging from historical romance to paranormal romance and several genres in between. She writes from her home in Door County, where she grew up and attended Gibraltar Area Schools.
