‘Haunted’ Is Next Peninsula Players Play Reading March 2

Peninsula Players Theatre (peninsulaplayers.com) will present a reading of Joseph Zettelmaier’s latest theatrical project, Haunted: The Great Lakes Ghost Project, on March 2, 7 pm, at Björklunden. Zettelmaier is a four-time nominee for the Steinberg/American Theatre Critics Association’s New Play Award.  Limited general seating is available for this free reading.

Several years ago, Zettelmaier began a journey across the Great Lakes states to collect ghost stories, from which he created a theatrical piece that wove tales of the supernatural with one person’s journey to answer the question, “Do you believe in ghosts?”

The reading cast includes Cassandra Bissell, Neil Brookshire, Hayley Burgess and Amy Ensign. Greg Vinkler, Peninsula Players’ artistic director, directs.

Haunted: The Great Lakes Ghost Project is part of Peninsula Players’ winter play-reading series, The Play’s the Thing, whose final 2020 performance will be Eternity by Michael Cochran on April 6, 7 pm, at Björklunden.
