Havegard Birdfeed Outlet Announces Photo Contest Winner

Havegard Birdfeed Outlet in Sturgeon Bay is proud to announce the winner of the 2010 Amateur Photo Contest. This year’s winner of a Vista Squirrel Proof Birdfeeder was Donald Zdenahlik of Egg Harbor. His winning photo featured a hawk visiting a birdbath.

Second prize was awarded to Gail Lohman of Forestville, for a photo of a juvenile Great Horned Owl. Third prize was awarded to Rik Warch of Ellison Bay, for a photo of a Red Headed Woodpecker.

Peter Wyatt, this year’s guest judge, said all the photos submitted were excellent. He said judging was very close and difficult.
