‘Healing Grief’ Writers Workshop to Incorporate Sacred Sound Meditation

The “Heart to Pen, Healing Grief” Writers’ Sacred Sound Meditation Workshop is scheduled for March 23, 6:30-8 pm at Door County Healing Center in Sturgeon Bay. In this workshop, attendees will discover how conscious movement and the sacred sounds of the gong help to free deep body memory of grief. Using the breath, guided imagery and movement, these deeply held emotions are freed, allowing reflective writing to help us to release their painful hold as our feelings pour out through the written word. Chris Zimonick and Marggie Hatala will lead the workshop. The workshop costs $45. Attendees should bring a notebook, pen, blanket and pillow. Door County Healing Center is located at 44 S.
