Healthcare Heroes Program

To show support and appreciation for the frontline health care professionals who have been working nonstop throughout the pandemic, the Community Blood Center (communityblood.org, CBC) has created a Healthcare Heroes program.

Community members are encouraged to donate blood at a donor center or select blood drives in honor of local health care heroes, then share a message of appreciation through recording a video or taking a photo. Donors can also share their messages on social media or send self-recorded appreciations to [email protected].

At the end of November, CBC will combine the messages and send them to the health care heroes at ThedaCare, Ascension, Hospital Sisters Health System, Green Bay Oncology, Ripon Medical Center and Door County Medical Center.
