Healthy Water Door County Forum Aug. 29

Healthy Water Door County invites charities and community groups to join them in a conversation about their plans to “Celebrate Water” – a year celebrating our water, understanding the threats to our water, and inspiring people to take action to protect our water. The focus is on the concept of healthy water for Door County. Instead of limiting the activities to a few months, the concerts, performances, lectures, discussion groups, and so forth would go on over the course of an entire year. These plans call for these efforts to culminate in a conference-like “Water Summit” in 2019.

Thus far, virtually all of Door County’s largest arts and environmental nonprofits have been meeting periodically and agreed to participate in this upcoming year of activities. Other charities and community groups of Door County are invited to send a representative to a conversation about how their organization might also get involved.

A Charity & Community Group Conversation about “A Year to Celebrate Water” is set for Aug. 29 at 30 am in the Sturgeon Bay area. Confirm attendance by sending your name and organization you represent to [email protected].
