Veteran bluegrass band Last Man Standing will play under cover, outdoors at Woodwalk Gallery on July 9, 7 pm.
The group features Jim Blahnik on mandolin, Tad Greene on banjo, Andy Livingston on acoustic guitar and John Spitzley on upright bass playing original music, traditional and contemporary bluegrass tunes and some songs that have been adapted to the bluegrass genre. Expect an evening of great music sprinkled with humor and the occasional banjo joke.
All of the group’s members enthusiastically support the Door County Land Trust’s work to protect the county’s exceptional land and waters, so they will donate the concert’s proceeds to the Land Trust.
Advance reservations are required for the concert at 6746 Cty G in Egg Harbor. Adult beverages will be available for sale. Attendees may take a picnic dinner, but they must reserve a picnic table when reserving tickets, which are $20 per person.
