Hearing for New Sister Bay Food-Truck Ordinance

The Village of Sister Bay will host a public hearing Aug. 23, 5:30 pm, regarding an updated ordinance regulating food trucks. 

The new ordinance would allow “mobile food-vendor courts” in the B-1 district as a conditional use. It also allows food trucks on lots of at least 20,000 square feet, with up to four trucks per lot; bars the use of tents in conjunction with food trucks; and addresses signage, seating, lighting, health and safety related to the trucks.
