HELP Of Door County Receives WPS Foundation Grant

The Wisconsin Public Service (WPS) Foundation is pleased to announce a $3,200 grant in support of HELP Of Door County Inc.’s TLP (Temporary Living Program). Lynn Kroll, grant administrator for the WPS Foundation, stated, “We are making this contribution because we believe HELP of Door County benefits our community and because we have a long history of supporting worthwhile programs that better the lives of our neighbors.” HELP’s Temporary Living Program (TLP) provides rental assistance to survivors of domestic abuse while teaching self-sufficiency skills. TLP guides women as they focus on their futures and to continually seek new opportunities. The program provides a support mechanism to help women develop their goals and the means to accomplish them.

The Wisconsin Public Service Foundation is funded by company shareholders, not by the customers of its utility subsidiaries, and is in its 53rd year. Since its inception, the foundation has provided nearly $32 million in contributions to programs that support work in the areas of arts and culture, community and neighborhood development, education, human services and health, and care for the environment.
