Help Paint a Community Mural July 28

The Sturgeon Bay Historical Society is hosting a community paint-by-number mural event July 28, starting at 9 am. The owners of Bayside Bargains, 14 S. Madison Ave. in Sturgeon Bay, have offered the building as the mural site.

Artists Erin LaBonte and Don Krumpos of Algoma have created a mural showcasing Door County’s maritime and agricultural history, and it also incorporates artwork by Annika Norz Uden, winner of the 2022 Door County Seed Library’s Ken Paschke seed-packet design contest.

Community members are encouraged to meet behind Bayside Bargains to participate (wear painting attire), and painting will continue until the mural is completed. No registration is necessary.
