Help with Voter Registration in Forestville, Sister Bay, Sturgeon Bay

The League of Women Voters of Door County will be at the Forestville Library on Friday, Sept. 28, from 9-11 am; the Sturgeon Bay Library on Tuesday, Oct. 2, from 5-6:30 pm; and the Sister Bay Library on Friday, Oct. 5, from 11 am until 2:30 pm to assist citizens in registering to vote. Explanations for filling out the form, help in locating clerk and polling places will be provided. A copy of current proof of residence is needed to register. Examples of legal proof of residence showing your current address include a pay stub, bank statement, utility bill or driver’s license. Copies may be made at the library for 15 cents. The local league is proud to be a National Voter Registration Day partner. On Sept. 25, National Voter Registration Day, local league members will assist voters in registration at the NWTC Sturgeon Bay Campus from 11 am to 1:30 pm in the hall outside the campus office. Individuals who have never voted, not voted in the past couple of years, have had a name or address change are urged to register thereby exercising their most basic right – the right to vote. On Wednesday, Sept. 26, league members will be at the ADRC/Community Center, Sturgeon Bay, from 11 am to 1 pm to assist citizens in registering to vote.
