Henry Timm to Speak in Dickinson Poetry Series

Henry C. Timm is the featured reader for the UU Fellowship’s Dickinson Poetry Series on March 11 at 7 pm.

Timm is an actor, director, poet, playwright and publisher. His degrees (from Hamline University and the University of Minnesota and from post graduate studies at Brandeis University and the University of Oslo) reflect his involvement with poetry, dramatic writing and the literatures of England, America, France, Germany and Scandinavia – particularly Norway. His own work has been performed in California, New York, Wisconsin, New England, and abroad.

On the second Wednesday of every month the Dickinson Poetry Series features a renowned local or regional poet followed by an open mic, providing an opportunity for others to read their poetry. A reception follows affording an opportunity to meet the poets. The Series is named for Emily Dickinson, a prolific poet and philosophically in tune with Unitarian beliefs. The public is welcome and there is no charge. The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is located at 10341 Hwy. 42 in north Ephraim. For more information call 920.854.7559.
