‘Herbs and Health Care’ Is Next Topic of Community Health Program

Northern Door Health & Wellness Ministry continues its Community Health Information Programs Feb. 18, 4 pm, with “Herbal Medicine” at First Baptist Church, Sister Bay. David LaLuzerne, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy, will present information on herbs and health care. LaLuzerne  practiced as a staff pharmacist in both hospital and community settings prior to opening his own store, Green Earth Natural Medicine in Madison. Since moving to Door County he has continued to teach through his presentations, herb walks, YouTube videos and DVDs.

Northern Door Health & Wellness Ministry offers free blood pressure screenings beginning at 5 pm at the monthly Loaves & Fishes Meal on the fourth Tuesday of each month at St. Rosalia Church, and 8:15 – 10:15 am on the second Tuesday of the month at the YMCA in Fish Creek.
