Heritage Village Celebrates Opening Day

The Door County Historical Society is hosting a celebration May 20 – a fun-filled day for families and individuals of all ages – as Heritage Village opens for the 2023 season.

From 10 am to 3 pm, visitors can watch performances by local musicians and blacksmith demonstrations, take tours of the historical buildings and Madden Tool Museum, play outdoor games and more. Historical building tours will be available for a fee; food and general-store merchandise will be available for purchase. Heritage Village, 2041 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay, is open Wednesday-Sunday, 10 am – 4 pm, May 20 – Oct. 29.
