Hey Hey 5k Fees Increase Sept. 1st!

Registration fees for the Hey Hey 5k in increase Sept. 1.

The Sept. 23 run in Baileys Harbor starts and ends at the new Door County Brewing Co. taproom and music hall, kicking off Baileys Harbor Autumnfest Saturday.

Runners receive a great race t-shirt, Door County Brewing Co. pint glass, and a free fill up of beer or root beer in the taproom. Register before Sept. 1 for just $35.

The race is all about having fun in classic Door County style. The Hey Hey 5k is named for one of the favorite sayings of Baileys Harbor icon Freddie Kodanko, the late Polka King who also inspired the name of one of Door County Brewing Co.’s signature beers, the Polka King Porter. Freddie loved his polka, loved to laugh, and have a great time.

The race is brought to you by the Peninsula Pacers, creators of the Door County Half Marathon, Door County Beer Festival, Door County Pond Hockey Tournament, and the Peninsula Century bicycle rides.

After the race stick around Baileys Harbor to enjoy food, a classic auto and motorcycle show, live music and more fun at Baileys Harbor’s Autumnfest.
