Rising Americana artist Genevieve Heyward will arrive at the Door Community Auditorium (DCA) on Jan. 18, 7 pm, fresh off a Scandinavian tour. Light on nostalgia but heavy on heart, Heyward’s vocal stylings have been compared to those of powerhouses Loretta Lynn and Patsy Cline.

Heyward’s band, The North, features Wisconsin-based Norwegian multi-instrumentalist and producer Marcus Trana (Painted Recordings) and beloved Door County guitarist Nick Hoover (Deathfolk). Making her DCA debut as a solo artist, Heyward will perform selections from her sophomore EP, The River.
