The Door County Highway Department, under the direction of the Department of Transportation (DOT) will be doing patch work to the asphalt surface on Hwy. 57 between Jacksonport and Baileys Harbor starting Monday, September 11 through Thursday, September 14. There will be flaggers for the work so expect some delays. This will be a moving and rolling patch process so exercise extreme caution will traveling thru the work zone.

The Highway Department will be hot rubberize crack filling Hwy 42 from Gills Rock to the Ferry dock on Monday, September 11. This process is expected to take two days and there will also be flaggers to direct traffic thru the work zone. Both projects will open to all traffic as soon as possible.

For the DOT and the Door County Highway Department, we apologize in advance for any inconvenience. Weather delays has backed these projects up from being done earlier this summer and they need to be done before fall.
