Sevastopol, Jacksonport, Baileys Harbor – The 17.5-mile milling and resurfacing work on Highway 57 between Highway 42 and Summit Road in the towns of Sevastopol, Jacksonport and Baileys Harbor was suspended on June 29 for the summer tourist season and will not resume until Sept. 6.
The project began May 3 and is expected to take 55 days, which equates to approximately three months of work, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
The $6.4 million project also involves additional shoulder gravel, beam-guard improvements and associated minor grading, centerline and shoulder rumble strips, and pavement marking.
