Historic Ephraim Audio Walking Tours

The Ephraim Historical Foundation (EHF) is proud to introduce the first-ever Historic Ephraim Audio Walking Tour, a self-guided audio walking tour that is available for check-out through the Ephraim Visitor’s Center. The audio tour players will be available for check-out seven days a week from 9 am – 5 pm, July through mid-October.

The EHF already hosts guided walking tours during the summer and fall months, but Melissa Ripp, EHF’s Business and Marketing Director, hopes that the audio tours will only build on the many ways visitors and residents alike can learn about the history of Ephraim.

In addition to the fact that people can take an informational tour of Ephraim whenever they want – not just the mornings EHF offers guided walking tours – the audio players offer video, so historical photos from the foundation’s archives are included at different intervals during the tour.

The cost of taking the Historic Ephraim Audio Walking Tour is $5 and includes entrance to all five Ephraim Village Museum buildings. Parties interested in taking the audio tour will be required to leave either a valid driver’s license or a credit card before embarking on the tour. The audio track of the tour lasts approximately 40 minutes.

“Demographics of museums visitors are changing, and we want to make sure that we always stay on top of what’s current, even in a village as small as ours,” concluded Ripp.
