Historic Island Dairy Names New Event and Facility Director

The Historic Island Dairy of Washington Island announced Jennifer Sunshine Perez is the new Event and Facility Director. Perez will oversee management and marketing of the Dairy and the Old Cheese and Ale House Art Gallery.

Perez has extensive customer service experience, having worked for Darden Restaurants, the world’s largest full-service restaurant company.

She has lived on Washington Island for the past seven years. During that time, she worked for Nelsen’s Hall, co-founded the “What We Do in the Winter” Gallery, and served as the Lead Teacher at the Washington Island Pre-school.

Perez has a personal connection to the Historic Island Dairy; her grandmother, Mae Williamson, owned the building for over 40 years.
