Historic Style Show at Fish Creek’s Old Town Hall

The Gibraltar Historical Association (GHA) of Fish Creek is hosting another Historic Style Show at the Fish Creek Old Town Hall. This style show is connected to GHA’s current exhibit, “A Glimpse of Old Fish Creek.”

On June 28 at 2:30 pm, enjoy cherry dessert, conversation, and viewing of 1900s to 1950s sporting attire and daily wear. Outfits vary from child to adult ages and will be modeled by members of the community. Come see and learn how visitors of Fish Creek spent their time in this vacation center in the early 1900s. Dresses for croquet, tennis and evenings at the casino will be featured.

Kنrin Kopischke, current costume design expert at Lawrence University in Appleton, will include commentary on each modeled outfit.

Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for children. For reservations call Barb McKesson at 920.868.9335 or stop at the History Center, located just behind Noble House Museum in Fish Creek on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday from 12 – 5 pm. All proceeds benefit Gibraltar Historical Association.
