The county’s first hole-in-one was above-the-fold front-page news in the Thursday, Aug. 30, 1928, edition of the Door County Democrat. Nearly 91 years later, on Aug. 11, 2019, Roger “Timmer” Larson scored his first hole-in-one at Maxwelton Braes Golf Course on hole #17.
