Hitching Post Adds Monthly Live Music

Andy and Carolyn Ripp, owners of the Hitching Post Bar & Grill (facebook.com/hitchingpostdoorcounty), just celebrated their first year in business, and it’s been a happy success.

To expand their music offerings, they’ll feature local, live music monthly on the first Saturday, 3-5 pm, November through February. Space is limited, so arrive early to enjoy all that the Hitching Post has to offer.

Local musicians Tad Greene from Last Man Standing and David LeFevre will play Nov. 2, and Cristy Christensen and John Iverson from Walking Each Other Home will play Dec. 7. The January and February musical lineup will be announced later.

The Hitching Post Bar & Grill is located at 4849 Glidden Dr., east of Highway 57 at the corner of Whitefish Bay Road and Glidden Drive in Valmy. It prides itself on locally sourced food whenever possible and is open daily (except Wednesdays) year-round, 11 am – 9 pm.
