Hold The Boat! 13 Original Songs from the Island

Washington Island’s Trueblood Performing Arts Center is selling a new music CD whose title, Hold the Boat!, and title song are inspired by what one thinks with hope or trepidation when running late, racing to catch a ferry to the Island on the curvy road, and county traffic is slowing progress.

The musical compilation comprises 13 original songs – a mix of folk, blues, country, light rock and reggae – and each is sung by an Island or Island-connected songwriter who provided her or his talents to this project for free. Julian Hagen and sound engineer Kevin Jones co-produced the CD, and recording took place during the last five months on the Island.
