Holiday Music Motel of Door County Features Hymn for Her and Phil Lee

Hymn for Her

The Holiday Music Motel will feature a performance by Hymn for Her on July 1 at 7 pm and Phil Lee on July 7 at 8 pm.

Hymn for Her is a duo comprised of Lucy Tight and Wayne Waxing, a married couple who travels the countryside in an airstream trailer complete with baby, dog and nanny. Their new release, Lucy & Wayne and THE AMAIRICAN STREAM was recorded in their classic trailer on a coast to coast U.S. tour. The recordings were then mixed by Jim Diamond (White Stripes).

Their unique sound has earned them several recent distinctions including a recent nomination for The Independent Music Awards and a feature in the LA Times.

Their performance is free and will take place on the front lawn of the motel (indoors if raining).

Nashville’s irrepressible Phil Lee will share his original roots and rockabilly sound on July 7. Tickets are $10.

Lee’s songs are full of wit, humor and grace that blend rock and roll, country, soul, and blues in an utterly unique voice that shoots straight to the heart.

This special July concert will mark the only Northeast Wisconsin stop on Lee’s “I Saw Him Before He Died” Tour.
