On Dec. 1, enjoy a Christmas parade of lights, arts and crafts plus a tree-lighting ceremony in Baileys Harbor. Take a stroll through downtown and check out all the trees that local businesses and families have decorated before the parade. Walk along the parade route on Guy Street that follows Santa on a fire truck and visit him at the Town Hall.
Door County North Rotary Club will host a holiday fair in the Town Hall from 10 am to 3 pm. All proceeds go to projects involving youth and the environment. Try your hand at wreath making from 1 to 4 pm at The Ridges Sanctuary. The workshop is $20, with additional wreaths costing $10.
Warm up and refuel with cookies and hot cocoa at the visitor center from 3 to 4:30 pm. Then get your spot for the Christmas parade and caroling at 4:45 pm. After the parade, join the Baileys Harbor Historical Society in the Town Hall to warm up and try your hand at different arts and crafts. Wrap up your night with the Christmas tree lighting.
