Home and Garden Fair Returns Aug. 24

Door County Habitat for Humanity (DCHH, doorhabitat.org) will present its second annual Vintage Home and Garden Fair fundraiser Aug. 24 at the Lazy L Ranch, 5280 Country View Road in Sturgeon Bay. Any item in the ReStore can be taken at no cost – to be refurbished, upcycled or otherwise beautified or enhanced – and returned by Aug. 9 to be sold in the ReStore’s booth at the event.

The event will feature the donated furniture and home décor items, one-of-a-kind garden art and planters, and a butterfly-house garden with wooden butterfly houses decorated by Door County artists.Started in 1993, DCHH helps community members to acquire and own decent and affordable homes throughout the county. Its 42nd home is now under construction.
