Hope Art Alcoves Showcases Art of Beverly Hart Branson

The works of mixed-media artist Beverly Hart Branson are being featured at the Art Alcoves gallery of Hope United Church of Christ in Sturgeon Bay through March 11. Branson, a lifetime artist who feels that her creations are constantly evolving, works in watercolor, ink, acrylic, oil and pencil. She enjoys plein air painting and creating imaginative, fanciful birds, creatures, flowers and scenes on paper, fabric and wood.

“On my journey as a pilgrim, I create visual reminders of my fleeting glimpses of infinite beauty in nature and the spheres,” she said.

Branson shows her work throughout the Midwest and is represented in private collections in Spain, Australia and throughout the U.S. She has donated her art to many community causes, including the Fairfield Center, Miller Art Museum, Peninsula School of Art and United Way. It’s also on display at the Fish Creek Bookshop and Gallery and in her own Treetop Studio.

The gallery at Hope United, 141 S. 12th St. in Sturgeon Bay, is open Monday through Friday, 9 am – 1 pm; and Sunday, 11:30 am – 12:30 pm. To learn more or arrange a private showing, call 920.743.2701 or email [email protected].
