Hope United Church Holds ‘Art for Action’ Exhibit

Hope United Church of Christ will host a members and friends art exhibit, Art for Action, Nov. 30 through Dec. 31. Artists will exhibit a piece of art and donate a piece of art. Art to be exhibited and offered for auction includes painting, photography, ceramics, wood, fiber, glass, music, food, wine and holiday decor. The donated pieces are part of a silent auction and opening reception on Nov. 30, 5–8 pm.

Artists are invited to contact the church office at 920.743.2701 by Nov. 23 to indicate their interest in participating in the exhibit and auction. Organizers ask that artists bring their work to the church by Nov. 26.

Proceeds from the auction will support the Hope UCC Youth Group who will travel to Back Bay Mission located in Biloxi, Mississippi, during the summer of 2019. Fifteen youth and adult chaperones will spend a week providing home maintenance and improvement services to very low-income or disabled residents in the Biloxi area.

The public is invited to visit the gallery Monday through Friday, 9 am–1 pm and Sunday, 9 am–12 pm.
