Horseshoe Bay Cave Tours Aug. 4 – 5

Explorers will get a rare chance to explore the Horseshoe Bay Cave Aug. 4-5. Tours will last approximately one hour and will include a brief presentation at the start and a question-and-answer session at the end of the tour. Cave difficulty is easy to moderate, bending and crawling are required with uneven surfaces but no vertical climbs or drops. The tours will be offered Saturday, Aug. 4, between 8:30 am and 3 pm, and Sunday, Aug. 5, between 8:30 am and 12 pm. Reservations are not required, but are recommended to ensure a spot on the cave tour. You may make reservations by contacting the Door County Parks Department at 3538 Park Drive, Sturgeon Bay, at 920.746.9959 or [email protected]. Office hours are Monday – Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Tours depart on the hour, commencing at 9 am, with the last tour departing at 3 pm. Tour participants should arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Group sizes are limited to 12, including staff.
