House & Garden Walk Returns July 27

Binkhaven is a Nordic-revival cottage with all the accoutrements of a modern home, but it features spectacular rosemaling by Norwegian and North American artists on its walls and ceilings, plus traditional folk-craft accents. Submitted.

The Door County Medical Center Auxiliary will host its annual House & Garden Walk on July 27. The event is the auxiliary’s major fundraiser, with proceeds benefiting the Door County Medical Center Skilled Nursing Facility and Hospice Care. Proceeds from sales of a commemorative poster designed by local artist Ryan Miller will also benefit Door County Medical Center.

“This year’s House & Garden Walk highlights some of the most beautiful and unique homes and gardens in the county,” said co-chair Chris Darling. “We invite the public to join us as we share the creativity of our local artists and homeowners, all with the emphasis on our wonderful community of Door County.”
