‘Human Jukebox’ at Katie Dahl Day

On Jan. 5, Base Camp Coffee Shop will celebrate its sixth Katie Dahl Day. Door County singer-songwriter Katie Dahl will assume the role of “human jukebox” at Base Camp, 9 am – 12 pm. She will play both original and cover songs and take requests from audience members.

Known for the literate candor of her songs and the easy humor of her live performances, Dahl has four studio albums to her credit. In October 2017, her album Solid Ground hit number 15 on the national folk radio charts. Victory Farm — an original musical she wrote with Emilie Coulson, with music composed by James Valcq — has been produced to great acclaim three times at Northern Sky Theater. American singer-songwriter Dar Williams calls Dahl’s work “the very best kind of songwriting.”

There is no cover charge for Katie Dahl Day. For more information, visit katiedahlmusic.com or call 920.854.7894.
