Husband and Wife Exhibit at Meadows Art Gallery

Kerry Vavra paints watercolors of Door County subjects, and Kathie creates fused glass jewelry.

The Meadows Art Gallery at the Good Samaritan Scandia Village welcomes the community to the opening reception for the Vavras’ art exhibit. The wine and cheese reception will be held Sept. 27 from 5 – 7:30 pm.

Kerry will feature watercolor images, and Kathie will show her fused glass jewelry and functional, sculpted pieces.

Kerry’s watercolors couple natural light with the watercolor media to capture Door County subjects in a representational style.

Kathie blends form and function with her use of light sensitive dichroic glass to make a fine art statement.

The Vavras have called Door County home since 2006, and have studied with Door County artists and craftspeople.
