Hymn Sing at Zion UMC

Zion United Methodist Church will hold the second of two annual hymn sings on Sunday, September 6 at 6:30 pm.

The hymn sings began in 1993 at this 104-year-old country church, and features old-time hymns selected by the audience. Rev. Don Heeringa, a former Zion pastor, will serve as song leader, and will be accompanied by Gladys Austgen at the keyboard.

Past hymn sings have attracted as many as 145 people from 13 different denominations, and the entire community is invited to attend. Refreshments will be served, and a freewill offering will be taken to benefit HELP of Door County.
