Ice Rink Open Dec. 28, Broomball to Start Jan. 3

The Teresa K. Hilander Community Ice Rink will open for the season at noon, Thursday, Dec. 28 at the Sister Bay Sports Complex.

The rink will be open for skating from noon – 8 pm through New Year’s Eve, and will also open at noon on New Year’s Day and stay open as long as people are there.

After that the rink will be open Monday – Friday from 4 – 8 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from noon – 8 pm as long as weather conditions permit.

Broomball Starts Jan. 3

The Door County Broomball League will kick off its season Wednesday, Jan. 3. The league is expected to have six teams once again this year, with games played Wednesday evenings.
