Idea Gallery Opening for 2023 Season

Idea Gallery will open for its seventh season April 29 with Exhibit I, a group show featuring studio work completed during the winter by 50 artists in media including painting, jewelry, ceramics, cast and blown glass, printmaking, photography, digital painting, sculpture and mixed-media assemblages.

New Door County artists for the 2023 season are painter Nan Helscher, photographer Emily Roedl and sculptor Fal Wing. Other new artists are painters Jocelyn Bedford of New York and Joan Schoonmaker Geary of Illinois, as well as mixed-media painter Susan Rice, hot-wax encaustic artist Bonnie de Arteaga, and sculptor Bilhenry Walker, all based in Wisconsin.

The gallery also hosts demonstrations and classes throughout the season.
