Idea Gallery Showcases 14 New Artists

Idea Gallery’s third season will open to the public on May 4 with Exhibit 1, showcasing 14 new, nationally renowned artists. The opening reception will be May 26, 4-7 pm. The gallery is open daily, 11 am – 5 pm.

Exhibit 1’s featured artists are Karen Gunderman (painting/ceramics) and Christopher Davis-Benavides (ceramics), along with Allison B. Cooke (cold wax painting), Bridget Clark (jewelry), Shar Coulson (painting), Susan Crow (jewelry), Kristy Deetz (painting/encaustic), Leslie Emery (painting), David Hymes (sculptural wood furniture), Minkyu Lee (sculptural ceramics), George Ouimette (sculptural ceramics), Sharon Matusiak and Robin Washburn (mixed-media sculpture) and John Whitney (sculpture/jewelry).
