The Clearing Folk School is pleased to offer a one-day class “Identifying Wild Mushrooms” by Door County environmental educator Charlotte Lukes. Lukes, who photographed her first mushroom in 1971, has explored most of Door County in search of new species ever since.
This workshop program class will take place at The Clearing Folk School’s Jens Jensen Visitor Center located at 12171 Garrett Bay Road, Ellison Bay, on Sept. 20, from 9 am to 4 pm. Pre-registration is required, and is available by calling 920.854.4088 Monday through Friday 8 am to 4 pm, or visit theclearing.org for full class details, tuition and online registration information. This class replaces the original class listed in the workshop program catalog scheduled for Sept. 19.
